Fry up

    Here in Nigeria, yesterday was Independent Day, meaning no work and no lunch. I’m not too selfish to ignore the fact that October 1st is also the National Day of the People’s Republic of China as well as Cyprus Independence Day. So good times all around!
    This is one of my favorite things to do in the kitchen aka crazy fry up of fridge leftovers. These are always awesome because no two are the same.
    Simply open fridge and pull out everything in a small container, anything too small for the container it’s in and anything you don’t remember putting there. Proceed with the nose test for freshness. Toss anything you cannot vet into the trash. Toss everything else into a frying pan with little water or oil (it really depends on what you find) If you go the frying route, chopped onions, peppers, chilies can help but are not necessary. You also don’t need spices because leftovers are typically already spice. Also cooking, cooked food doesn’t take long. So bonus! Time saved.
